Ludlow Porch and Denny Welcome You!

Dear Friends:

A very wise person once said, "All good things must come to an end." It is with this in mind that I am reluctantly advising you that I will be leaving my position with the Funseekers Radio Network as of Monday, September 6.

My long-time associate and good friend Denny Ainsworth will be assuming my duties. I hope and pray that you will give Denny the same cooperation and affection you have shown me.

My 30+ years in the world of radio have been a great run. I have recently been presented the opportunity to make more public speeches. Speaking in public has always been one of the loves of my life. Combine this with the fact that I am in the middle of co-authoring a very funny book, and I know you'll realize why I'm taking this bold step.

My years with you have been golden. Please call on me if I can ever be of service to you. I promise you I'll see you every chance I get, and whatever else you do today, you find somebody to be nice to.

Warmest personal regards,
Ludlow Porch

note from Denny:

The show will continue with me as the host. It will, of course, not be exactly the same as Ludlow. There is no one else on this planet like Ludlow Porch and I will never pretend to be in the same class as Lud. I will, however, attempt to continue a tradition of the style of radio that Ludlow pioneered. There will be a subtle evolution as we move into the future and it will be fun to see where it takes us.

I hope you will call this week and celebrate Ludlow's distinguished radio career. Remember...he ain't retiring. Ludlow Porch might show up in your town soon either speaking or peddling his new book!
